Foraging and Flower Arranging

Learn how to walk around your own yard and forage for plant material that you can bring indoors and create a beautiful flower arrangement with. We will walk around the nursery, and combine foraged clippings, learning how to make an arrangement. Every participant will take an arrangement home.

About the event
Kim presents her Second Saturdays Garden Classes, bringing "Foraging and Flower Arranging" to you on Saturday, Novmeber 9th. Foraging is becoming a fast growing past time for anyone who likes to spend time in nature, and during this class you will learn several tips on how to forage safely and ethically.
In this Class, Kim will combine her knowledge of foraging (also known a wildcrafting) and teach you how to how to forage for plants in your own yard. We will take a walk around the nursery to clip and snip plants that can be used to create amazing flower arrangements! Everyone who participates in this class will be able to design and take home their very own flower arrangement!
This Class will be taking place in the beautiful outdoor amphitheater, located in the middle of Berridge Nursery. There are padded seat cusions for your comfort, and we try to create a shady environment if the sun is too warm. Please check the weather and dress accordingly. If rain is in the forecast, we will move our class into the Greenhouse. Here are a few important things to remember:
- This Class is geared towards adults, but teens would be welcome if they have a true interest in plants and flower design. No children under the age of 10 please!
- Bring a drink or snacks if you want one
- ALL SALES ARE FINAL! I cannot give refunds, but if a conflict arises, please contact me and we can get you moved to another class on another date
