The cold weather often brings the sniffles, and we want to be prepared. My Winter Herbal Remedies Class will teach you natural ways to prevent and hopefully eliminate the seasonal illnesses that often show up in Winter. You will learn how to make Firecider, it's benefits & take some home too!

About the event
Kim presents a very health focused Second Saturdays Garden Class in December. The Class is called "Winter Herbal Remedies" and features "Firecider". Being prepared for the cold and flu season is something everyone can benefit from, and the lessons you learn in this class will help keep you healthier this year!
In this Class you will enjoy an interactive discussion about herbs that when combined, create a very healing and soothing treatment inside the body. You will learn ways to prepare immune boosting meals as well as which herbs are beneficial to have on hand during the Winter season. We will focus largely on the creation of Firecider, a truly amazing blend of plants that combine to create a powerful healing tonic. Everyone in attendance will take a sample of Firecider home as well.
This Class will be taking place in the beautiful outdoor amphitheater, located in the middle of Berridge Nursery. There are padded seat cusions for your comfort, and we try to create a shady environment if the sun is too warm. Please check the weather and dress accordingly. If rain is in the forecast, we will move our class into the Greenhouse. Here are a few important things to remember:
- This Class is geared towards adults, but teens would be welcome if they have a true interest in Herbal Remedies. No children under the age of 10 please!
- Bring a drink or snacks if you want one
- ALL SALES ARE FINAL! I cannot give refunds, but if a conflict arises, please contact me and we can get you moved to another class on another date
